Dr. Ahmed Mostafa Hassan Abdelrahman, MD, FRCSED, Born in Egypt on the 11 th of December, 1966. He is Graduated from Kasr Aini School of Medicine, Cairo University, in 1990 and achieved first place over more than 1500 medical students. He achieved the Medical Doctorate degree in Ophthalmology from Cairo University in 1998 and the fellowship degree from Edinburgh in 2000. He is a professor of Ophthalmology, Cairo University, since 2009 to this day. He teaches the undergraduate and postgraduate students, trains the residents, runs a tertiary glaucoma clinic and organizes the annual Kasr Aini glaucoma activities. In 2015, he got the Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Total Quality Management (TQM) for Healthcare Reform from the American University in Cairo. He is the founder and president of the Egyptian Society for Continuous Ophthalmic Education(EGSCOE), a society officially registered in 2015 that offers continuous Ophthalmic education and training for the young ophthalmologists (EGSCOE on telegram & Website: egscoe.info). He is a glaucoma consultant with national and international publications and innovations in the field of glaucoma surgery.
