Dr. Habibullah EatamadiMD FRCS ophth Edin

Habibullah Eatamadi, MD FRCS ophth Edin is Chief division and Consultant oculoplastics and Orbital surgeon, Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abudhabi, UAE.

He has done his postgraduate training in Oculoplastic and orbital surgery at Nottingham University hospital and London Western Eye hospital, UK. Dr Eatamadi’s main subject of interest is medical and surgical management ocloplastics and orbital diseases of the eye. He has special interest in thyroid eye disease, orbital immunological diseases and orbital tumours in UAE.

In 2008 he joined Tawam hospital where he established the first Oculoplastics and Orbital Service in any UAE government hospital. In September 2011 he transferred to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abudhabi. At SKMC he continued to develop this service and currently Sheikh Khalifa Medical City is one of the main referral centers for oculoplastics and orbital surgery for all SEHA facilities as well as form other UAE Emirates.

He has established – together – with the endocrinologists at Sheikh Khalifa Medical Citya joint thyroid-ophthalmology clinic where all those patients who need special attention are evaluated and treated. In addition Dr Eatamadi has special interest in paediatric and adult immunological diseases of the eye and he does a joint clinic with the immunologist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. Dr Eatamadi is the program director of the residency program and is actively involved in teaching the residents.
