Dr. Abdullah Al kharashi Assistant Professor

Dr. Abdullah Alkharashi is currently working as Assistant Professor, College of Medicine, King Saud University (KSU) and he is a Senior Consultant in the vitreoretinal division in King Abdulaziz University Hospital. He joined King Saud University on October 2011 before that he used to work in King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH).

Dr. AlKharashi completed his Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery at King Saud University in June 2000. He then joined the Residency program at KSU-KKESH (completed December 2005) after that he did 2 years Fellowship Training in vitreoretinal division at KKESH (completed December 2007). FRCS Ophthalmology, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (February 2009). Fellowship in the Vitreoretinal Diseases (Surgical and Medical), University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada (June 2010).

He actively participated in the training of residents and fellows both in King Abdulaziz University Hospital and King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital. He has given many lectures and clinical sessions for both undergraduate medical students and post graduate residents and fellows. He was involved in the many research projects and has given several presentations at different meetings.
